Hi my name is Alex Gomez and I was born in Bogota, Colombia. I immigrated with my family to California when I was 3. We later moved to Boca Raton, FL where I grew up. Since a young age, I dreamt of doing something great with my  life. I loved films for as long as I can remember but didn't know it was something one could do. When I was invited by a friend to audition for a short film, I remember instantly falling in love. So, I moved to NYC to pursue an acting career. I studied acting and almost immediately began working in Off Broadway. I bought my first video camera to document my experiences, that's when I realized Directing was my second calling. I came back to Florida and went straight to film school. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree and made my first short film outside of school. I later started working for one of the biggest Art Directors in Miami. After that, I ventured on my own and was freelancing full time. I've worked on countless national TV commercials, music videos and major motion pictures. Currently, I am focused on my Directing career. My goal is to work in Hollywood and make the types of films that influenced my life.
